To allow the Unicode update setting to be reversed, a new checkbox option ‘Unicode fields’ is provided. This is selected as true by default; a reversion to ‘standard’ fields can be invoked by removing the tick selection for this box.HOWEVER… this action should only be taken following discussion with AIT.
