A problem was identified in control number searching – this was caused by control number integers held in control number parameters (Inst_Controlnumbers) clashing with numbers originally given in code to various internal access points. This is now fixed by improved logic and you can now access works by Bibliographic ID and Item barcode in the search keyword screen. For Bibliographic id, you can put the truncated number, e.g. for R0000493455 you can search either for 493455 or for Bib493455, or you can do an Anywhere search for Bib493455, or go to the next tab (Details of a work) and use the actual Bib ID.
