| 2013|10|E | 3.3.2.28390 | A modification is applied which currently is applicable to NSPL only. This allows a variant of User Purge, which instead of deleting a candidate user now archives that user record. The Archive action applies the user status mark for archive, which allows the record to remain on file, but not active, allowing their records to be reviewed by staff, and permitting change of status back to normal if appropriate. As the records remain on file, repeat attempts to register as a user are picked up and can be denied.The change is afforded by an Enterprise parameter which is notified to NSPL only. For general information, NSPL wish to apply this as part of a library amnesty, following which the parameter will return to normal setting. There will be no effect in other installations, but if you are interested, please contact AIT.
