An eCard user is a library member who has access to digital services only (eBooks, online resources, etc.) without the ability to borrow physical items from the library. This is a streamlined membership option for users who only want digital services and may never physically visit the library.

Key characteristics:

• Will have a ‘Review’ status until email verification is complete
• Digital-only access (no physical item loans)
• Don’t require in-person identity/address verification
• Join entirely online through Montage
• Must verify their email address to activate their account
• Cannot place reservations on any items

Library staff are referred to as operators. Operators have access to the administration side of Montage V2.

‘Posts and articles’ are an element within Montage v2 administration that can be used for sharing information online. These could be created as a newsletter or a blog. See Posts & Articles.

Users refers to the library patrons or the end user of Montage V2.
