1. The work to be ordered must already exist in the catalogue (see Quick Work).
2. Click on create order button.
3. Screen will display ‘New Order’ .
4. Search work (ISBN or title)
5. ‘Supplier name’ field – search for the supplier in drop down.

6. On the lower screen – most fields are pre-populated, but can be changed as required.
7. ‘Item format’ – select from drop down menu.
8. ‘Price per copy’ – if order is for a serial this value MUST be the total value of the order, not the individual copy cost.
9. ‘Quantity’ – defaults to 1.
10. ‘Commitment’ will reflect price * quantity.
11. Select a ‘Fund’ to assign cost.
12. Save.

13. Home location pop up will appear.
14. Click on the location required.
15. Select the number of copies to be assigned to this location (minimum is 1).
16. OK
17. Page will change to display existing order. .

Operators can view the orders for this supplier on Tech Services > Suppliers.
